Checkpoint rhythm
Mark safe tiles with a single breath count. If you miss the count, reset at the last checkpoint instead of muscling forward—time saved on recovery beats time lost on rage routes.
Input hygiene
Tap jump on release for tight ceilings; hold slide only when spikes are already on screen. Camera lookahead is your friend—pan early, not late.
